News Release: NEWYA program is the recipient of a Manitowoc County West Foundation Grant
CESA 7 is thrilled to announce that the Northeast Wisconsin Youth Apprenticeship consortium (NEWYA) was selected to receive a West Foundation Grant! This grant money will help support our school-based coach model for youth apprenticeship.
NEWYA is dedicated to empowering high school students by connecting them with local businesses through meaningful work-based learning experiences. Our programs help students explore career interests, earn wages and high school credit, and build skills that prepare them for life after graduation. Visit https://www.newya7.org/ to learn more about the program.
This grant contribution from West Foundation is helping students break down barriers to opportunity, ensuring they can access coaching, mentorship, and real-world experiences. We sincerely thank the Ruth St. John and John Dunham West Foundation, Inc. for creating a stronger future workforce, helping retain talent in our community, and inspiring students to dream big!
