CESA 7 Board of Control Announces the Hiring of Aaron Malczewski as New Agency Administrator

Green Bay, WI – The CESA 7 Board of Control is pleased to announce Aaron Malczewski as the new Agency Administrator, effective July 1, 2025. He will succeed Dr. Colleen Timm, who will retire at the end of June 2025.

In sharing the news of the appointment, CESA 7 Board of Control Chair Sue Todey commented,  “We are excited to welcome Aaron Malczewski as our new Agency Administrator starting July 1, 2025. Dr. Colleen Timm has taken CESA 7 to new heights, and we are confident that Aaron’s expertise, dedication, and passion will continue to build on that success. We believe Aaron is the right leader to help CESA 7 remain a premier provider of services to the schools in our region.”

Malczewski brings two decades of leadership experience to the role, including his current position as Executive Director of Operations at CESA 7. He has held key leadership roles in education, including Superintendent of Oconto Unified School District and Principal at Oconto Middle School. Known for his servant leadership and systems-driven approach, Malczewski excels in fostering collaboration, strategic planning, and cultivating high-performance cultures.

Reflecting on his new role, Malczewski shared.  "I’m both honored and humbled to step into this role and lead such an exceptional agency. Over the past eight years at CESA 7, I’ve developed a deep sense of pride in our mission to support school districts across the region. What I am most proud of, however, is our staff. They are some of the most talented, dedicated professionals I’ve ever worked with. It’s a privilege to work alongside them, and I’m excited for what we will build together in the future."

In his current role, Malczewski has been instrumental in transforming several programs, such as the Teacher Development Center, into highly regarded initiatives that have made a significant impact across the region. He has also led efforts in strategic planning, goal alignment, and ensuring long-term growth for CESA 7.

Malczewski holds multiple certifications, including Superintendent, Principal, and Curriculum & Instruction. He is also an active leader in the educational community, presenting at national and state conferences.

The CESA 7 Board of Control looks forward to this next chapter and is confident that Malczewski’s leadership will continue to elevate the agency’s work in supporting local school districts.
